For as long as I can remember I felt things, loved music, dance, nature and people. As a young woman – at 16, I had a profound spiritual experience and I became passionately convinced that the body could heal, and that what we believed was a deciding factor in what we experienced in life. I also knew that a holistic approach to my health was imperative if I wanted vibrant living. This is when I began to study and practice nutritional awareness fitness and reflexology.
My pursuit of knowledge and practice became intertwined in my life as a mother and friend to anyone in need. As I learned more and practiced more, I had the opportunity to gain a tremendous experience in everyday life.
In 2010 when I experienced a traumatic assault at work, I was on crippled every level. My diagnosis was PTSD and the medical treatments prescribed were mildly helpful but left me entirely unable to function. As a Mom and Grandma, my love for my family was too great to allow me to quit so my journey intensified and so did my search for answers that could help me heal – I became single minded in my search for any and every tool available. This is when I became Reiki Master, aromatherapist and energy worker. I have studied and practiced Quantum touch, Indian head massage, matrix energetics and more, incorporating each modality with my own spirituality and my past life training – healing my body from the impact of stress and reinventing my life. I went back to school and became a medical aesthetician and massage therapist. From there I became an instructor and began teaching aesthetics, laser and massage, incorporating my vibrational medicine training and mindfulness. My mantra was simply “better and better”!
I am really excited to share this transformational bag of modalities in the treatment room and on the back deck! I am now enrolled in a remedial massage college and look forward to that certification and the next phase of growth in my life with The Sound Wellness Institute.
And I love my life !
