Edward Carne B.Sc. (Engineering), M.B.A.
Edward has over three decades of experience as a Professional Engineer, working in industry streamlining processes while optimizing production. While Edward’s degree is in Electrical Engineering, Ed spent most of his career working in Industrial Engineering, working as a Quality Engineer, Production Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Technical Manager, before starting his own consulting business. Edward has designed products and processes that have resulted in excess of 70% reduced waste, and has redesigned products leading to sales increases of over 4000%.
But as Sound Wellness emerged, it was apparent that the benefits offered by Sound Wellness to those who participate in its programs overshadowed his contribution to industry. In 2009, Edward closed his consulting business to support the work that Sound Wellness was doing.
Today, Edwards’s focus is primarily on the technical and management side of Sound Wellness, ensuring that every program offered provides extraordinary, lasting experiences. He is also actively involved in the creation and instruction of the course material – particularly those areas of a more technical nature.
Edward has served on numerous boards of non-profit organizations offering sporting programs for youth. He taught boating practices and boating safety for 8 years with the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron, and is an accomplished woodworker. In his spare time, he thoroughly enjoys playing with his grandson, and his two granddaughters.
